This is an experienced-level opening for someone who can confidently set up and operate press brakes with minimal direction.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:30

AM Training Schedule:

10:00 AM-8:30 PM for the first few weeks

Pay:

$19-$22/hr DOE + $1/hr shift differential Pay may be flexible above the listed range for a highly experienced candidate.

Responsibilities Independently set up, edit, and operate CNC press brake machines Operate Amada press brakes and other equipment as needed Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, BOMs, pick lists, and routers/travelers from a variety of sources Adjust setups and processes as prints and production requirements change throughout the day Select and verify appropriate materials for each job Recognize and diagnose issues with flat patterns before and after forming Perform quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring equipment Identify carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Move materials as needed using a forklift Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and requirements Qualifications 5+ years of press brake operation or closely related experience strongly preferred Must be able to independently set up and operate CNC press brakes with minimal supervision Strong blueprint and print-reading skills required Must be comfortable working from prints that can vary significantly from job to job Experience operating multiple types of CNC press brakes required; Amada experience strongly preferred Dener press brake experience is a plus Proficient with precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, measuring tables, protractors, and similar equipment Ability to recognize potential issues with dimensions, flat patterns, and formed parts Ability to identify common materials by sight, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Understanding of BOMs, pick lists, routers, and travelers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be dependable, self-directed, and able to work without constant instruction Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a seasoned press brake operator who can come in, understand the print, determine the appropriate setup, and confidently produce quality parts without needing step-by-step direction. This position is best suited for someone accustomed to a fast-paced, job-shop or custom manufacturing environment where prints, materials, and production needs can change frequently.
