REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator in a sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication environment Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other measuring tools Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. independently Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE CNC press brake experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts. Read blueprints and verify finished parts meet required specifications and tolerances. Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate production updates to the next shift or supervisor. Qualifications Proficiency in CNC programming and understanding of blueprint reading with GD&T principles. Familiarity with quality inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed work instructions. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and setting machine parameters. Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, assembly procedures, and safety protocols related to machining operations. Certifications in forklift operation or crane handling are preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
