In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to shape and form sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated parts meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality metal fabrication projects in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper tooling and safety measures are in place before production begins Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to accurately form sheet metal parts Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes for complex bending operations, optimizing machine performance and precision Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Skilled in measuring and quality inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools Familiarity with shop math and basic math skills necessary for machining and fabrication tasks Knowledge of safety standards related to machine operation and metal fabrication environments Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high attention to detail and safety compliance Join us as a Press Brake Operator and become an integral part of our manufacturing excellence!
