In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to produce precise metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality fabrication, adherence to safety standards, and efficient production workflows. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend sheet metal with accuracy and consistency. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to determine bend angles, dimensions, and tooling requirements. Program CNC press brakes using

Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain proper tooling setup, change tooling as needed, and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery, handling materials, and performing measurements. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving CNC laser cutting. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of press brake machines with a strong understanding of machine setup and tooling adjustments. Experience with interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and the ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols. Skilled in measuring parts using precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes. Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for precise bending and forming operations.
