Summary:

\nSupports the Press Systems area by applying advanced knowledge of the digital press functions, coaching and training the cell/team to operate equipment effectively with minimal downtime and optimal quality. Provides manufacturing floor direction for a cell (team) and is accountable for job skills training for the cell.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

\nResponsible for safety of all assigned equipment and fellow crew members.\nOperation of roll-to-roll digital press and roll-to-finish equipment, in accordance with manufacturer's operating procedures.\nFollow documented escalation procedures. Provide necessary information to leads and managers in a timely manner.\nResponsible for assisting in writing of Work Instructions and Job Aids\nRead and understand a printrun production order to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications.\nMaster company workflow and execute training for all crew members.\nFinishing and palletizing of all products.\nEnsure proper packing of all products. This includes pallet placards, tray tags and other necessary material identifiers.\nMaintain safety, quality, maintenance, and best practices.\nManage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met.\nMonitor inventory of supplies needed for the press and its associated equipment.\nWork in a cross-functional environment.\nOther duties, and cross training as assigned\n

Requirements and Qualifications:

\nWork in a team environment and lead and train others\nStrong problem solving and organizational skills\nBasic computer and office application skills\nHigh school or GED equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years running roll to roll digital presses. (Preferred)\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\nRoll-to-finish experience. (MBO/Hunkler/iWeb)\nUnderstanding of postal addressing and palletizing requirements\nThorough understanding of paper stocks, weights, and finishes\nAbility to read English, interpret work instructions, numerical data, and ruler measurements.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to multitask.\nMust be willing to cross-train on other equipment\nPunctual and willing to work overtime as required.\nAbility to work independently.\nRecognize deviations in quality control standards.\nJob requires ability to lift minimum of
