FINISHING FOREMAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all daily field operations related to drywall and carpentry activities on the project job site
Provide training and guidance to all employees
Work with Safety Manager to ensure safety compliance for all employees and project job site
Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and code adherence through the project
Responsible for the restoration schedule adherence
Conduct multiple walkthroughs in individual units and common areas to verify completion of scheduled work and adherence to drywall/carpentry requirements
Manage the firestopping team to ensure all firestopping activities are properly coordinated and execute in alignment with overall project requirements and schedule
Maintain inventory levels and pre-ordering materials in a timely manner
Provide daily updates to the Project Coordinator per company policy and procedures
Familiarize with project scope and specifications
Inform Senior Project Manager and provide cost estimate on time and material basis
Consult Plumbing Foreman for all plumbing related issues or concerns
Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor
FINISHING FOREMAN EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in the drywall, carpentry/painting field (required)
Knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used
Be a self starter
Ability to organize multiple projects, manage rapidly shifting priorities
Produce tangible and measurable results
Communicate professionally with customers and co-workers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Stand for long periods of time
Walk long distances
Use of your hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Physically fit with the ability to work in awkward spaces
Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
Ability to crouch, bend/twist, crawl, kneel and sit unassisted
Climb ladders, scaffolds, poles, or stairs
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must own tools of the trade
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Must have reliable transportation
Must be authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions
Willingness to travel
Must have a working smart phone (required)
