The CNC Operator or CNC Set Up Operator is responsible for the efficient setup and operation of multi-axis CNC Lathe Machinery in order to run prototype jobs and production runs, in accordance to engineering drawings, using Magnet-Schultz of America's advanced CNC Machinery. Set up, operate, CNC Lathe and prove out new programming. Read and understand G-Code Interpret mechanical blueprints as well as a variety of geometric and trigonometric principles. Transfer metric to inches Maintain close tolerances (within .0001) Have a full understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool life Experience in utilizing all of the standard inspection tools in order to check your work Conduct proper inspection of first piece run and in process parts Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls Experience working with aluminum and stainless materials Past experience working with any of the following machines: Mori Seiki, Eurotech, Nakamura or Swiss Star Pay will depend on ability to set up.
Pay Rate:
$23.00-$46.00/hr with benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k with match, paid time, etc) Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors: job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
