Job Description McKinley Packaging , a Corrugated Container manufacturer located throughout U.S. is currently seeking an experienced Die Mounter at our facility in Lebanon, IN. The Die Mounter will report directly to the Supervisor. This position has responsibility for overseeing the die room including setup, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Take correct print dies to press department, pick up print dies from machines after order is complete. Wash all dirty printing dies, remove tap, and band type. Inspect all incoming dies for any necessary repairs. Glue and seal loose dies returned from machines. Replace printing dies in proper sequence on printing die rack. Adheres to production schedule. Pull, sort and file load tags. Make BMC and box ID strips. Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data. Turn in work orders to supervision for needed repairs proactively. Assists other employees, as necessary. Comply with the safety guidelines and safety rules established by the company as well as exercise common sense and good judgment in performance of duties. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Read and follow instructions on a factory master, production schedule or those presented in writing, orally or in graphic form. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurements, volume, and rate. Problem solving involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret quality standards. Working knowledge of product layouts and production specifications.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, twist, bend at waist, grasp and reach with hands and arms; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, the ability to adjust focus, and color vision. The noise environment is generally moderate to loud. We offer a competitive compensation package packaged based on experience for the right candidate. This is a full-time position.
