Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Folder Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating folding machines to accurately and efficiently process printed materials, ensuring high-quality output that meets production standards. Your expertise in machine operation, paper handling, and quality control will be essential in delivering precise folded products for print advertising, packaging, and other print media. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to the seamless production of printed materials that captivate audiences worldwide. Responsibilities Operate folding machines and related industrial equipment with precision, ensuring accurate folds according to specified layouts and designs Interpret production documents, including layout designs and prepress instructions, to execute correct folding procedures Perform routine machine adjustments and maintenance to optimize performance and prevent downtime Manage paper feeding, cutting, binding, and finishing processes to ensure consistent quality of folded products Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process, identifying and resolving issues related to color management, typography, or layout discrepancies Collaborate with our team to ensure print files are correctly prepared for folding operations Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Proven experience operating folding machines or similar industrial printing equipment in a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical knowledge regarding folding machines Familiarity with interpreting production documents Knowledge of color management principles and print quality standards to ensure vibrant colors and sharp images in finished products Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and perform basic machining or CNC adjustments as needed Understanding of layout design, typography, and print advertising requirements for various print media projects Prior experience with industrial equipment adjustment, press operation, and quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment Join our team as a Folder Operator if you're passionate about precision printing processes and eager to contribute your technical expertise to a fast-paced production environment.
