Job Description
Job SummaryOur client is seeking experienced Bindery Operators to join its growing company. Our client is rapidly expanding and has multiple openings for 1st and/or 2nd shift bindery equipment operators. Full-time positions are available, with potential Saturday overtime as needed.
The primary responsibility is to set up, operate, and maintain commercial bindery equipment, with a strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safe machine operation.
Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain the Polar Paper Cutting System.
Operate Muller-Martini Minuteman Saddlebinder equipment.
Operate Stahl folders.
Operate other general commercial bindery equipment as needed.
Perform machine setup and adjustments to ensure proper production.
Monitor equipment operation and maintain consistent production quality.
Handle folding, cutting, binding, and other paper-finishing processes.
Maintain equipment and identify operational issues.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Multi-task across production requirements while maintaining quality standards.
Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience operating and maintaining commercial bindery equipment - required.
Knowledge of commercial printing - required.
Previous experience with: Saddlebinder equipment, Folders, Paper cuttersExperience working in a commercial printing facility.
Strong understanding of paper finishing and bindery operations.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or GED required.
