Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Print Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, mechanical knowledge, and a keen eye for quality control. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining equipment performance, and delivering exceptional print products that meet client specifications. Duties Operate large-format printers, digital presses, flexo presses, and screen printing machinery with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Interpret production documents accurately, including layout designs, color specifications, and technical instructions. Manage color management processes to ensure consistent color reproduction across various print jobs. Perform routine maintenance and mechanical adjustments on industrial equipment to optimize performance and prevent downtime. Execute prepress tasks using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies. Utilize cutting tools, paper binding machines, CNC equipment, and machining tools for finishing processes. Adjust machine settings based on technical specifications, including typography, layout design, and print advertising requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with graphic designers and production teams to interpret complex projects accurately. Skills Strong understanding of color management techniques and print reproduction standards. Mechanical knowledge of industrial printing equipment including large-format printers, flexo presses, CNC machinery, and screen printing systems. Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately and execute precise adjustments on machinery. Knowledge of paper binding techniques, cutting methods, and finishing processes like laminating or mounting. Familiarity with print advertising standards and layout design principles. Attention to detail in quality control inspections to ensure high standards are maintained throughout production.
