Education Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Technical training in printing, manufacturing, or mechanical systems is a plus Basic computer skills required Ability to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards Experience Requirements Previous print industry experience preferred Experience operating offset presses and printing equipment Web press experience, including combination folder operations, preferred Experience troubleshooting print quality and mechanical issues Prior leadership, crew training, or supervisory experience is a plus Willing to train motivated candidates with strong mechanical aptitude Preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a production team Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Safety-focused with a commitment to quality standards Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple production functions Physical Capabilities Ability to lift 50 pounds or more without assistance Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching Ability to work overtime, extended shifts, and weekends as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Job Duties Operate offset presses safely, efficiently, and according to production schedules Run offline equipment to support printing and finishing operations Monitor print quality, including color accuracy, registration, alignment, and overall appearance Troubleshoot press, mechanical, and print-quality issues and implement corrective actions Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic adjustments on printing equipment Lead and coordinate a crew of up to three employees to meet production goals Train and mentor new team members on press operations and safety procedures Collaborate with production staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order completion Assist the Press Room Manager with daily operations and departmental responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies and quality standards Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
