What you'll do: Start as a Production Finisher learning to finish sand cores for our foundry industry customers, then train to run the machines that create them as a Production Machine Operator.

Schedule:

Morning shift, 6:00 AM-12:00 PM, 6 days/week (some OT as needed).

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to): Operate machines safely, quickly, and efficiently, producing quality product to customer specifications at the best possible rate Read process sheets and tool information for job directions Determine and obtain the correct sand mix per specifications Learn to operate the Epidox program Learn the history and characteristics of each job to increase efficiency and troubleshoot problems Set up jobs on the machines Communicate effectively with your Coach and team to keep work on track Clean down machines and work areas properly Perform light maintenance and box repair as assigned Work as a team member, helping coworkers as trained and authorized Assist with core finishing as cycle time or downtime allows Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures

Skills & Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures Comfortable using basic hand tools Mechanically inclined, with the ability to learn machine operation and setup/teardown (forklift training provided if applicable)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Comfortable climbing ladders/stairs and working at heights Manual dexterity for tool use and coordinated movement Ability to work in tight or awkward spaces Good eyesight (corrective lenses permitted) Average daily lifting of 30 lbs., regular lifting up to 70 lbs., occasional lifting to 90 lbs. (with assistance as needed)
