In this role, you will be at the forefront of the printing process, ensuring high-quality production of flexible packaging and labels. Responsibilities Set up and operate flexographic printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and print quality. Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to maintain smooth operation of industrial equipment. Manage color consistency through precise color management techniques and monitor color accuracy throughout production. Interpret production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to ensure accurate execution of print jobs. Conduct quality control inspections during production, identifying and resolving issues related to print clarity, registration, or color discrepancies. Collaborate with prepress teams on layout design, graphic adjustments, and prepress software to prepare files for printing. Perform cutting, paper binding, and finishing processes as needed to meet product specifications. Operate large-format printers and digital printing equipment for diverse projects such as print advertising or packaging materials. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience operating flexo presses or similar industrial printing machinery in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress software for file preparation. Knowledge of color management principles and techniques for achieving consistent print results. Familiarity with screen printing, digital printing, and large-format printers is a plus. Ability to interpret technical documents including production specifications and layout designs accurately. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process. Basic understanding of typography, layout design, machining, and industrial equipment adjustment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
