Job Description

We are looking for a Flexographic Press Operator (Flexo Press Operator) who can independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic printing presses used to produce labels and packaging products. Core Experience Required The ideal candidate should have experience with: Flexographic printing presses (narrow web or wide web label presses) Printing pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, RFID labels, flexible packaging, or commercial labels Setting up and changing: Printing plates Dies Print cylinders Ink systems Color matching and ink mixing Maintaining print registration and print quality Performing routine machine maintenance What They Will Do Daily The candidate will: Read production/job orders. Set up the press with dies, cylinders, plates, and inks. Run the press and monitor production.

Inspect printed labels for:

Color accuracy Registration (print-to-print and print-to-die alignment) Missing print impressions Ink consistency Print defects Make adjustments during the run. Mix inks to required specifications. Clean and maintain equipment. Follow safety and housekeeping procedures. Must-Have Skills Experience operating a flexographic printing press

Understanding of:

Print registration Color matching Ink viscosity Die cutting Label production Ability to use measuring tools and rulers accurately Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Nice-to-Have Experience Pressure Sensitive Labels Flexographic Labels Shrink Sleeve Labels Flexible Packaging RFID Labels Commercial Printing Pay:

$25.55 - $31.00 per hour
