Role Description The Screen Printer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kansas City, MO. This role involves setting up and operating screen printing equipment, preparing screens, mixing inks, and aligning designs for accurate, high-quality prints on garments and other materials. Daily tasks include loading and unloading presses, monitoring print quality, performing routine equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting common production issues. The Screen Printer will work closely with the production team to meet deadlines, follow job specifications, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Collaboration with the design and embroidery teams may be required to ensure consistency across all printed and embroidered products. Qualifications Hands-on experience in Print Production and Printing, with the ability to manage multiple jobs and meet production schedules. Proficiency in Screen Printing processes, including screen preparation, ink mixing, registration, and press operation. Basic knowledge of Embroidery techniques and workflows to coordinate with embroidery production when needed. Understanding of Print Design principles, including layout, color usage, and design placement on garments or materials. Attention to detail, strong quality control mindset, and ability to follow written job tickets and specifications. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift boxes of garments and supplies, and work in a fast-paced production environment. Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a unionized, collaborative shop. Prior experience in a screen printing or apparel decoration environment is preferred; willingness to learn and follow safety procedures is essential.
