Position Overview:
HP Digital Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining HP digital printing presses, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met. You will work closely with our production team to produce high-quality printed materials for a wide range of clients, including marketing materials, packaging, and promotional items.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain HP digital printing presses, including HP Indigo 15k.7000 and 6900 Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure press uptime and quality output. Monitor print jobs to ensure consistency and quality, adjusting as needed. Load paper, make ready and run jobs to ensure materials are properly prepared for printing. Perform color calibration, image quality checks, and resolve any print defects or errors. Collaborate with the production departments to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. Track inventory, document and manage supplies to ensure efficient operations. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document and report any technical issues or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating HP digital presses (HP Indigo 15k,7000, and 6900 press. Strong knowledge of digital printing processes and color management and file management. Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to work a 40 hour work week with overtime if needed. HP advanced Training preferred, Level 1 and or 2 High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or training is a plus). High school diploma or equivalent
