Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and technical expertise in print production.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications
• Monitor press performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal print quality
• Load and unload paper stock
• Perform routine maintenance on printing presses, such as cleaning and lubricating parts
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Press Operator or similar role in the printing industry
• Strong knowledge of print advertising, layout design, and color management
• Familiarity with prepress processes and procedures
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred
