Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Assembler and bring expertly crafted furniture pieces to life! This energetic role is perfect for individuals passionate about woodworking, construction, and creating beautiful, functional furniture. As a Furniture Assembler, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into finished products with precision and care, ensuring each piece meets quality standards and customer expectations. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute directly to our reputation for excellence in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your expertise in assembly, carpentry, and construction techniques will shine. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble furniture components. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking to assemble furniture pieces efficiently and safely. Operate woodworking machines such as saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment to shape and prepare materials. Install fixtures, hardware, doors, siding, trim, flooring, and other components with precision to ensure proper fit and finish. Conduct heavy lifting of furniture parts and materials safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure durability, stability, and aesthetic standards are met. Assist with remodeling projects or restoration industry tasks that involve furniture or wood-related repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or carpentry—residential or commercial—demonstrating a strong foundation in building techniques. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools, machinery, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking, siding installation, door hanging, flooring installation or related trades. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate assembly. Prior work on construction sites or in remodeling projects that involved heavy lifting and fixture installation. Knowledge of power tool safety practices combined with practical experience using hand tools and power tools for woodworking tasks. Experience in the restoration industry or mold remediation is a plus but not required; a strong background in handyman work or remodeling projects is highly valued. Join us if you're eager to craft high-quality furniture while honing your skills in construction techniques! We're dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where your craftsmanship makes a real difference—every piece you assemble reflects your skill and dedication!
