6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Job Overview Aerotek is hiring Fitters to support the assembly of wind turbine tower sections in a manufacturing environment. This role involves installing internal tower components using hand and pneumatic tools while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. Responsibilities Assemble platforms, ladders, lighting fixtures, and other tower components Use pneumatic, power, and hand tools to complete assembly tasks Perform quality inspections and make corrections as needed Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Assist with material movement, housekeeping, and general production duties Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications Mechanical assembly, fabrication, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical labor Forklift experience is a plus Strong attention to quality, safety, and teamwork Work Environment Work in a large industrial manufacturing facility producing wind turbine towers.
