Manufacturing Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Level 3 Manufacturing Assembler to join our team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will perform high-precision electromechanical assembly of complex base platforms and sub-systems for advanced, large-scale mailing systems. If you have a strong mechanical background and an eye for quality, we want you on our team.
Core Responsibilities Precision Assembly:
Build complex units from the ground up using standard hand tools, power fasteners, specialized jigs, and dies according to strict engineering blueprints.
Equipment Handling:
Safely operate factory support equipment, including overhead cranes and product dollies.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read technical drawings, follow detailed work instructions, and execute tasks based on verbal engineering guidance.
Quality Assurance:
Perform routine troubleshooting and defect repairs to ensure every module meets rigorous quality standards.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively both independently under moderate supervision and collaboratively with cell leaders and machine builders.
Safety Compliance:
Maintain a strict "Safety First" mentality by adhering to all workplace safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or electromechanical assembly environment ( preferred ).
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools, and a basic understanding of elementary electronics—such as PCBs, PLCs, or system testing ( preferred ).
Foundational Skills:
Grade 12-level proficiency in written and spoken English, alongside strong foundational math skills.
