Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a hands-on PCB Assembly Technician to support our growing electronics manufacturing operations. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in a variety of embedded and electromechanical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing team.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Perform surface mount (SMT) and through-hole PCB assembly Solder components using hand tools, soldering irons, and rework stations Inspect assembled boards for quality and accuracy (visual and magnification tools) Perform basic functional testing of PCBs and assemblies Identify and troubleshoot assembly defects (cold solder joints, misalignment, etc.) Rework and repair boards as needed Follow assembly documentation, work instructions, and BOMs Maintain a clean and organized workstation Required Qualifications Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to read basic assembly drawings and component layouts Familiarity with common electronic components Steady hands and good manual dexterity Preferred Qualifications Experience with PCB inspection standards (IPC-A-610 a plus) Experience using microscopes or magnification tools Basic understanding of electronics and circuit function Experience with test equipment (multimeter, power supply, etc.) What We're Looking For Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working in a small team environment Someone who enjoys building and working with electronics Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within the company Hands-on work with real-world products and systems
