Overview We're a high‑end millwork company looking for a skilled Cabinet Builder to join our shop. Must have experience with custom cabinetry, casework, and precision assembly. Ability to read shop drawings and work independently is a must. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and millwork components. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other machinery safely and efficiently. Assemble cabinet components with precision, ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded. Use woodworking machines such as table saws, planers, routers, and sanders to shape materials according to specifications. Install finished cabinetry and millwork on-site or in our workshop, including door hanging, fixture installation, trim carpentry, siding, and drywall finishing. Perform heavy lifting of wood construction materials safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly inspecting tools and equipment for safety compliance. Experience Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within residential or commercial construction environments. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and the ability to read blueprints accurately. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols, including power tool safety standards. Hands-on experience with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, MDF, veneers, and other sheet goods. Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings for precise fabrication of cabinetry or millwork components.
