Job Description

  • Job Title: PCB Assembler
  • Job Description
  • The PCB Assembler will be responsible for installing components and parts such as switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, and semi-conductor circuits onto various units including chassis, circuit boards, and panels.

The role involves pulling and prepping parts, inspecting, and testing finished printed circuit boards, and operating computer-controlled automated equipment. The assembler will ensure quality assurance of finished work and complete all work orders accurately. Job Responsibilities

+ Mounts electronic parts including switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, and semiconductor circuits into chassis and boards.

+ Manually populates and solders fine electronic parts onto circuit boards with a high degree of precision.

+ Interprets manufacturing orders, schematics, and complex electronic diagrams to build units accurately.

+ Runs computer-controlled automated hardware, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) component placement machines.

+ Examines completed circuit boards for exactness, neatness, and total conformance to technical design specifications.

+ Runs operational tests on completed circuit boards and logs diagnostic data into a digital tracking application.

+ Pulls and preps electronic parts, receives stock inventory, and completes routine component cycle counts.

+ Troubleshoots and completes delicate repairs on damaged circuit boards directly at the individual component level.

  • Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • + High school diploma or an equivalent GED certificate. + Minimum of six months of directly related electronics manufacturing or assembly experience. + Strong experience in general electronics manufacturing, soldering methods, and test instructions. + High attention to precision, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to operate delicate inspection equipment

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynn Haven, FL.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $16.

00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
