Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly and Wiring Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of components and systems. You will work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Compensation:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience) | Full-time position
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Perform wiring tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires.
  • Mount, connect, and secure electrical components.
  • Conduct quality checks and functional testing of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical or assembly issues; escalate problems when needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and complete work orders as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., strippers, crimpers) and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical drawings.
  • Basic understanding of soldering, wiring, and AC/DC electrical circuits (soldering experience is a plus).
  • Effective communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team/warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must be a U.
S. Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 38 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during a shift.
  • Good manual dexterity and vision for detailed assembly and wiring tasks.
