Full-Time About Teems Electric Inc. Teems Electric Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Production Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a production environment, and has experience with welding, fabrication, and working from drawings or measurements. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, safety, productivity, and consistency are important. Schedule We currently work a 4-day, 10-hour workweek (4x10) . Our normal schedule is four 10-hour days; however, the schedule is subject to change based on workload and company needs. Additional hours or schedule adjustments may occasionally be required to meet production demands. Job Responsibilities Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required. Fabricate and assemble metal components according to drawings, measurements, and specifications. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and basic fabrication plans. Measure, cut, fit, weld, and finish metal components. Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, and other shop equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines. Identify quality issues or fabrication problems and communicate them to supervisors. Perform other duties related to welding and fabrication as needed. Qualifications Previous welding and/or metal fabrication experience preferred. Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, and basic fabrication instructions. Ability to accurately measure and work with various types and thicknesses of metal. Experience using common welding and fabrication tools and equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required for the position. Must be willing to work a 4x10 schedule and adjust hours as workload requires. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a production welding and fabrication environment. Experience with MIG welding. Previous experience with structural or electrical-related fabrication is a plus. Ability to work from detailed shop drawings and specifications. Welding certifications are a plus but are not required.
