As a Console Assembler, you'll be responsible for assembling control room furniture that is built for 24/7 environments and be a part of a collaborative, tight-knit group that works together to get things done. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, mechanical and carpentry aptitude, and the ability to understand and follow technical drawings and instructions. For more than 40 years, Constant has partnered with clients across public safety, utilities, corporate security, the U.S. Government, and other sectors to deliver high-performing security operations centers. Key Responsibilities Assemble consoles (control room furniture) according to engineered shop drawings, specifications, and company standards. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents. Inspect consoles and components for quality, accuracy, fit, finish, and completeness. Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain accurate inventory of materials and components. Prepare materials, inventory, and console components for production and installation. Pack completed consoles and components for safe transportation and assist with shipment preparation. Support general shop operations, quality control, and special projects as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Hands-on experience in assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, cabinetry, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions, a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently. Reliable, adaptable, and willing to assist wherever needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Must be able to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
