In this piece-rate position, the primary responsibility will be to weld aluminum coil to routed faces to create custom letters and signage. The ideal candidate will be able to perform welding tasks quickly and with high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring that all signs are built to specification and meet our company's standards. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong hand-eye coordination, quick thinking, and the ability to improvise in order to meet deadlines and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Weld aluminum coil to routed faces to form custom letters and signage. Ensure the final product meets both quality and design specifications. Work efficiently to complete jobs within specified timeframes. Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations. Manage welding tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and quality. Handle multiple projects at once while meeting piece-rate targets. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during welding or sign production. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and properly. Ensure work area remains free of hazards, ensuring personal and team safety.

Job Requirements:

Experience in welding, specifically with aluminum, preferred. Strong hand skills, dexterity, and ability to work with small, intricate materials. Ability to think quickly and improvise when faced with unexpected challenges. Strong attention to detail, with an eye for quality craftsmanship. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Prior experience working in a production environment or with custom fabrication a plus. Capable of lifting and moving materials, bending, and standing for long periods.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, physically demanding, and deadline-driven. Safe work environment with adherence to safety protocols.

Compensation:

This is a piece-rate position, where compensation is based on the number of completed jobs. Once fully trained, workers can expect to earn between $2,500 and $3,500 biweekly week based on productivity.
