Sensor Assembly Technician Sensor Assembly & Test Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Sensor Technician to join our production team in Norwood, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and testing high-precision sensors, working with micro-components from raw parts to final assembly. If you possess a resilient "never give up" mindset when tackling intricate mechanical and technical challenges, we want to hear from you.
Schedule:
(M-F) 7:30am - 4pm Pay rate: $24 - $28/hr (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Precision Assembly :
Build complex sub-assemblies and final sensor products from individual components following detailed work instructions, specifications, and on-the-job (OTJ) training.
Micro-Assembly & Welding :
Perform delicate positioning, installation, and welding of sub-components using microscopes and magnifying viewers.
Testing & Inspection:
Rigorously test, inspect, and troubleshoot sub-assemblies and final products to ensure strict quality standards are met.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, logs, and process documentation with high attention to detail.
Process Adherence:
Carefully read, interpret, and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.

Dexterity & Vision:
Exceptional hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and steady hands required to manipulate tiny components under magnification.

Technical & Computer Literacy:

Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
