Job Description

Assemble company product lines (hoses, valves, and couplings) following standard operating procedures (SOPs), shop orders, and work instructions. Safely operate power tools and machinery, including hand drills, grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses. Grind rudders and other hardware for secondary machining operations. Use bead blast equipment to ensure finished goods meet high-quality standards. Mark parts using pin stampers, laser marking, etc. Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using hand trucks, dollies, and shop carts. Consistently and accurately complete job paperwork in the computer system to maintain part counts and traceability. Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to achieve the cross-training needs of the department. High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School equivalent required. 1-2 years of prior assembly work (e.g., manufacturing, mechanical, or retail assembly) is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to do basic math, including computing ratios and percentages. Experience reading blueprints is a major plus! Strong communication skills (ability to ask questions and listen actively). Must be highly detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and willing to learn new skills. Capable of working with minimal instruction once proficient. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work well within a fast-paced, collaborative shop environment.
