Job Description

Modular Manufacturing LLC is a growing manufacturing company that builds high-quality modular offices and structures. We're looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our General Assembly team . This is a hands-on construction and assembly position where you'll help turn shipping containers and other components into completed modular spaces. You don't need to be an expert in every trade. We value people who are willing to learn, work hard, follow instructions, and take pride in what they build. What You'll Be Doing Your day-to-day work will depend on your experience and the area you're assigned to. You may work in areas such as: Framing and carpentry General assembly and installation Wall and panel installation Insulation Doors and windows Trim and finish work Fixtures and hardware Paint preparation and finishing Electrical support and installation Punch-list and final finish work Cleaning and preparing completed units Employees are generally assigned to a primary area , but everyone is expected to help in other areas when needed. Our goal is to keep production moving and complete each unit safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. What You'll Do Measure, mark, cut, and install materials Assemble and install components Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Read and follow measurements, layouts, drawings, and work instructions Install framing, paneling, trim, doors, windows, fixtures, hardware, and other components Inspect your work for proper fit, appearance, and quality Identify and correct problems when possible Move and stage materials Keep your work area clean and organized Work with other team members to complete each modular build Follow company safety and quality procedures Help wherever needed to meet daily production goals What We're Looking For? We're looking for people who are: Dependable and take attendance seriously Willing to learn new skills Comfortable working with hand and power tools Able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements Able to follow instructions and work from drawings or layouts Detail-oriented and proud of their workmanship Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Safety-minded Willing to work in different areas of production when needed Experience is a plus, but it isn't everything. Construction, remodeling, carpentry, framing, assembly, manufacturing, or similar experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. What Makes This Different? Instead of traveling from jobsite to jobsite, you'll work at the same manufacturing facility while helping build complete modular structures. You'll have the opportunity to learn multiple areas of construction and manufacturing rather than being limited to one task or trade. As our company grows, we're looking for people who want to grow with it. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier loads with assistance Frequently bend, kneel, reach, climb, and handle materials Use hand and power tools throughout the workday Work in a manufacturing environment that may be non-climate-controlled, including heat, cold, and seasonal conditions Requirements Must be 18 years or older Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment Must maintain a reliable smartphone capable of accessing company systems and communication tools Schedule 1st
Shift Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM-4:30 PM Fridays and additional overtime may be required based on production needs and customer demand. Work schedules, start times, and hours may change at management's discretion based on production requirements, supply chain conditions, weather, or other operational needs.
