Description:

🔧 Assembly Technician - Build, Repair, and Power Essential Industries! Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Join a growing team where you'll diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild industrial pumps and compressors that keep the water, energy, and manufacturing industries moving. As an Assembly Technician , you'll work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment alongside experienced technicians to inspect, measure, troubleshoot, assemble, and test industrial pumping equipment. If you're comfortable reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and take pride in producing quality work, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your mechanical career.

What You'll Do:

Disassemble industrial pumps and compressors using hand tools, impact tools, and torque tools Take precise measurements using micrometers and calipers to identify wear and repair needs Inspect components and communicate findings to support repair estimates Assemble, rebuild, and test pumps, blowers, and exhausters to ensure proper performance Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Troubleshoot mechanical issues while partnering with Engineering and Quality teams Operate shop equipment, cranes, and forklifts (training provided) Maintain a safe, organized work environment following 5S/6S principles

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading experience Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred Experience:

Hydraulics Pump, compressor, or rotating equipment repair Micrometers and calipers Machine operation, carpentry, construction, or general labor backgrounds
