Maxwell Social is a private members club and event venue looking for a reliable, skilled specialist to call on for projects around the space, as they come up. 1)

Responsibilities:

• First one up is ceiling upholstery: fabric over batting installed overhead. Guest-facing, so seams and corners matter.
• Ensure flawless execution in a guest-facing environment, where attention to seams and corners really matters.
• Assist with future varied projects as they arise, including millwork touch-ups, banquette repairs, hanging and mounting, patching, and small builds.

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in tented ceilings, upholstered walls, fabric wallcovering, or theatrical soft goods (if you have done this, the first project is squarely your thing).
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Must carry insurance or be able to provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance).
• Flexible availability: Logistics dictate that work happens around our events calendar (typically weekday mornings, off-nights, or overnight shifts).
