Qualified Staffing is currently hiring Truck Body Installers for our client in New Carlisle, OH. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical experience who want to grow their skills in a fast-paced production environment. The Truck Body Installer is responsible for preparing truck chassis and installing a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify truck chassis according to work orders
• Install service bodies, platforms, and related equipment
• Install wiring and electrical components (LED brake lights, reverse lights, etc.)
• Install hydraulic systems, including hoists, cylinders, and controls
• Install pneumatic components and controls
• Install lift axles and plow hoists
• Ensure proper routing of airlines and check driveshaft clearance
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Perform basic shop math as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical background required
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Previous experience in automotive equipment or a similar industry preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
