SUMMARY Process, assemble, and inspect manufactured products that meet quality standards and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, miscellaneous power tools, and equipment to assemble material handling products Read and interpret blue prints Measure, inspect, test, and finalize manufactured products according to work instructions, test sheets, and sales quotes Prepare assembled products for painting, by sanding, deburring, masking and/or washing Mark or label materials and products with identifying information Operate all lift equipment in a safe manner to ensure personal protection and to ensure the protection of other personnel and company property. This would include lift trucks, stackers, and overhead lifting equipment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and work productively in a team environment Carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies, federal, state and local laws Learn and follow company procedures, safety policies, and ethics policy Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Good math and problem-solving skills Ability to perform work assignments based on written information, verbal instructions, web-based scheduling and communication tools Ability to use a tape measure or other measuring equipment to ensure product meets specifications Ability to work onsite at the Portland manufacturing facility in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere with self-directed work force. EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required 1+ year of manufacturing experience
