WHAT YOU'LL DO
Read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions, and build wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related components from them Use hand tools — crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, torque tools — to cut, strip, terminate, and route wire Measure and cut wire to spec with precision Meet weekly output expectations without cutting corners on quality Inspect your own work against company and industry standards; flag defects or bad material right away Complete on-the-job training and work toward formal certification (IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent) Keep your bench organized, follow all safety guidelines, and coordinate with your supervisor and teammates
WHAT YOU NEED
Essential functions of this role, which can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Manual dexterity and comfort working with small parts and hand tools Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and measurements, plus basic math for measuring and cutting Strong attention to detail; able to work independently and meet deadlines Reliable attendance and commitment to a full 40-hour week
NICE TO HAVE

) Wire assembly, cable manufacturing, or electronics assembly experience; crimping, soldering, or harness build-up Experience with calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools
IPC/WHMA-A-620
certification or similar formal training Hand-skill experience from somewhere else entirely — jewelry, model building, auto or bike repair, sewing, culinary, hobby electronics — counts. Tell us about it.
