1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking an Assembler I to join a manufacturing team. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of product assembly, inspection, testing, equipment and tool operation, and material/component processing tasks to support production schedules and quality requirements. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Safely and efficiently complete assigned production tasks by following operating procedures and work instructions. Operate necessary equipment and tools to meet production schedules. Assemble, package, and label products as required. Accurately complete production records and required documentation. Perform required inspections and quality checks according to established specifications and procedures. Inspect finished and in-process products for dimensional and cosmetic attributes. Complete rework on products that do not meet specifications as needed. Work with other production areas to help identify and resolve quality issues. Perform equipment setup, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance tasks as needed. Contribute improvement ideas, identify potential problems, and provide feedback on new or modified processes. Work cooperatively with team members and maintain a positive attitude. Cross-train in other production areas and provide support as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow appropriate environmental practices. Follow all workplace safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture. Perform other related duties based on business needs. Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred. Prior experience using scales preferred. Preferred Skills & Abilities Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Self-motivated with a commitment to quality and productivity. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as required for the position and workplace safety. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements This position is performed in a manufacturing environment. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
