Rotating 12-hour shifts (see schedule below) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Wood Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for building custom wood crates and packaging solutions using blueprints, measuring tools, and construction-grade power tools. Success in this role requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. •5:50 AM Shift assignment will be determined based on business needs and availability. ResponsibilitiesWood Crate Assembly Build custom wood crates and skids according to blueprints and production specifications Safely operate construction-grade power tools including nail guns, staple guns, drills, grinders, hammers, and tape measures Use ladders when assembling crate tops and completing builds Apply adhesives and install protective materials when required Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines Quality & Production Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure with accuracy up to 1/8 inch Read and interpret cut sheets, drawings, and production instructions Identify and report discrepancies in specifications or materials Use production software to track and update job progress Safety & Teamwork Follow all workplace safety procedures and equipment guidelines Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly Maintain a clean and organized work area by removing wood scraps and debris Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily production goals Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 3+ months of experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, landscaping, assembly, or operating power tools preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools Basic computer skills for production tracking and job logging Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently lift and move materials up to 40 lbs independently and heavier loads with assistance Push and pull materials up to 75 lbs Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders as needed Comfortable working in a production environment with moderate to high noise levels Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse setting Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving equipment Indoor environment with varying temperatures Overtime and extended hours may be available based on production needs Apply today and become part of a team focused on craftsmanship, safety, and quality.
