Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician II to join our dynamic team. This is an interesting and challenging long-term position with a lot of growth opportunities in the short term. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling precision components and products using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. At Swift Creek Farms, we value work-life balance and family/personal time. We offer a flexible schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekend work required. Employees also receive 6 paid holidays per year and Paid Sick Time.

Pay:

$22.25/hour to start, with a wage increase after 90-day performance review. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, equipment, and products according to work instructions, specifications, and blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documents. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment. Follow established assembly processes and quality standards. Identify assembly discrepancies, defects, or inconsistencies during the manufacturing process. Investigate and assist in identifying the root cause of assembly issues and report findings to the appropriate supervisor or team. Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity. Meet daily production goals and work effectively under established deadlines. Inspect completed assemblies to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all workplace safety procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues, discrepancies, or process improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly processes, quality, safety, and efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or a similar technical environment preferred. Strong knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail. Ability to identify assembly discrepancies and contribute to root cause analysis. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Understanding of workplace safety practices and proper PPE usage. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
