Position

Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications.

Responsibilities Assembles component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.

Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, along with attaching hardware and sealing assembly.

Routes and ties electrical components, along with calibrating unit according to specification(s).

Routes and installs hydraulic components.

Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.

Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies, along with reworks, repairs, or replacing faulty component parts.

Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.

Operate an overhead crane and forklift. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.

Ability to work from established work instructions and follow sequence of operations.

Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment, and crate, pack, and move finished goods.

Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required.

Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.

Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
