!!! Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing complex industrial equipment used in water treatment facilities. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet rigorous quality standards and operate seamlessly in demanding environments. Duties Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and production documents to accurately assemble equipment components Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools to perform mechanical assembly and metal machining tasks Read and understand electrical schematics and pneumatic/hydraulic system diagrams to install electrical components and systems Set up machining tools, calibrate measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measurement gauges for precision assembly Assemble industrial equipment with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and function of all parts Install gear reducers, motors, screen hoppers and discharges Install plumbing and instrumentation for spray bars Interpret technical drawings to guide the installation of mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with specifications Conduct quality control measurements using measuring instruments to verify assembly accuracy and adherence to standards Package project required spares for shipment Package remaining independently site-installed BOM items for shipment Assist in loading and unloading equipment/parts Document inventory adjustments as required for projects Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment assembly. Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to mechanical or industrial equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in assembly, machining setup, welding, and metal fabrication Familiarity with electrical systems including reading electrical schematics and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems for industrial applications Ability to interpret production documents and manufacturing instructions accurately Skilled in measuring with calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools for quality assurance Knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery operation is a plus Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills combined with a solid understanding of industrial equipment assembly processes Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines Physical stamina and agility to perform a variety of tasks, in sometimes difficult conditions Ability to work safely using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team committed to excellence in water treatment technology.
