Job Description

Large Poultry Manufacturer in Alabama is seeking a Plant Manager to join their team! Must have Poultry experience and strong job stability! Ø Follow all safety rules, company policies and be knowledgeable about GMP's, SSOP's and BRCGS Policies Ø Have a positive attitude toward all company policies, rules, goals and fellow company associates; Ø Verbalize company culture on a daily basis.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness
Assures our quality meets and satisfies all customer expectations
Assures effective customer service and relations through timely delivery of quality products
Select, train, develop and motivate plant staff to maintain and continuously improve operations
He/She will set production and processing goals for the plant
Responsible for the management of food safety, legality and quality
Maintain plant property, equipment, contracts, leases and records to ensure compliance with USDA.
Assures compliance of all plant operations with company policy and federal, state and local regulations. Includes usages of water/sewer, ammonia, chemicals, gases and all energy sources
Assures accuracy of operating reports to management, reporting current production status, plant cost, yield, maintenance and repairs and other variable cost.
Complies with BRCGS policies #JDP
