About the Role As a Production Planning Lead, you will drive operational excellence by orchestrating complex manufacturing schedules and optimizing resource allocation. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between engineering requirements and customer delivery commitments, ensuring our production workflows remain agile and efficient. Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive production schedules that synchronize manufacturing output with fluctuating market demand. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between procurement, engineering, and operations to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline throughput. Drive on-time delivery performance by proactively managing production timelines and resolving capacity constraints. Analyze manufacturing data to forecast resource requirements and identify opportunities for operational scaling. Architect and implement robust planning tools and standardized processes to elevate the maturity of the production function. Maintain rigorous adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle. Synthesize production metrics into actionable insights for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making. Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience in production scheduling and manufacturing operations. Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to interpret complex data sets to drive informed operational decisions. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring teams and improving performance. Demonstrated success in high-precision manufacturing environments such as aerospace or automotive. Preferred Skills Expertise in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization. Hands-on experience with Epicor or similar enterprise manufacturing software. Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems and compliance protocols.
