Job Description

Plant Manager Job A well-established steel manufacturing company with more than 140 years of history is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at one of its manufacturing facilities. This organization has built its reputation on quality, innovation, integrity, and long-standing customer relationships. Its products and manufacturing capabilities support industries including oil & gas, agriculture, transportation, heavy equipment, energy, infrastructure, government, and industrial construction. What You'll Do Lead overall plant operations with responsibility for safety, production, quality, people, cost, and performance Develop and execute production plans that meet customer requirements and delivery expectations Drive productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and production teams Monitor production and cost metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvement Maintain strong safety and quality standards throughout the facility Partner with purchasing, logistics, quality, and other departments to support plant objectives Manage staffing, resources, equipment, and departmental budgets The role requires a hands-on manufacturing leader who can balance production demands with safety, quality, employee development, and operational performance. What We're Looking For 5+ years of manufacturing experience 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles Strong understanding of production processes, quality, cost control, and operational improvement High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Why Join Us?
