Job Description Essential Job Functions:
Design, develop, and deliver plant-wide CI and Lean manufacturing training programs. Coaches CI training leads, supervisors, team leads/coordinators, and production associates on process improvement tools and methods. Support onboarding and upskilling programs to build employee capability in CI initiatives. Assist in executing plant CI initiatives, including Kaizen events and process improvement workshops. Reinforce training concepts by applying Lean principles in operational settings. Monitor adoption and effectiveness of CI initiatives; adjust training and support as needed. Create and maintain training materials, job aids, and visual management tools. Ensure CI knowledge transfer and consistency across shifts and functions. Track training and CI adoption metrics, report progress, and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with operations and CI teams to address skill gaps and process bottlenecks. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Lean thinking. Engage employees at all levels to participate in CI activities and improvement initiatives. Lean, Six Sigma, or CI certification (preferred). Experience in tier 1 automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies. Experience designing and delivering training programs in a manufacturing environment. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP system familiarity preferred.
Deliverables:
Successful development and delivery of CI training programs. Adoption and implementation of CI initiatives across the plant. Measurable improvement in operational KPIs (efficiency, waste reduction, and throughput). Positive feedback from plant leadership and employees on training effectiveness.
Education:
