POSITION
The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of the shop operations to include Truck Equipment installation, Paint, Quality Control and Pick Up & Delivery with the direction of the Plant Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Allocates resources, provides feedback, and ensures organized production. Assign tasks, assist, and train other personnel to support future growth. Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Issues written and oral instructions. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and confer with supervisors, leads, and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving for the best outcome. Communicates across multiple departments. Demonstrates leadership behaviors that support our Company Values. Advocate plant and employee safety, ensuring all employees are utilizing safety procedures. Create a continuous improvement environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
