Job Description
Looking for someone who has a strong manufacturing background and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities. MRP experience is required. The initial focus of the role will be training on our MRP system and working directly with customers on requirements and scheduling. Those responsibilities will represent only part of the position, as the role will continue to evolve based on the individual's skills, experience, and capabilities. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., although some flexibility in hours is expected. This job wears a lot of hats. We're a small manufacturer with 25 employees. Must be able to be hands on with MRP and scheduling and be mechanically inclined. Not necessarily to work with hand tools but has to be able to learn how the equipment runs and become familiar with all of that. This person would be assisting with managing workers in production. Also, a good communicator that works well with others. Must be flexible with their schedule. Normally an 8:00 to 4:00 day M-F, but manufacturing needs can change from day to day and must be able to be flexible with that. This person doesn't need to know everything on day one, but capable of learning and able to assist managing our extrusion team and able to be hands on with the MRP|Scheduling system.
