  • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
  • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff Responsibilities
  • Lead reliability, compliance, quality and safety programs; Ensure that required government and environmental regulations are met;
  • Responsible for organizing the formulation, implementation, inspection, supervision, and control of various management systems of the production department;
  • Prepare and conduct team meetings as required to achieve proper communication and development of the team;
  • Ensure that personnel are fully trained, committed to and operate in accordance with all aspects of safety and quality systems and requirements. Coordinate all quality and safety training for employees and maintain required records;
  • Evaluate performance against production targets and adjust resource allocation as needed to optimize the quality and cost efficiency of operations. Identify problems in production process and guide improvement plan, shift scheduling, overtime level, training, etc. to plant management.
  • Responsible for the implementation of production plan, grasp the production schedule to ensure the normal operation of production; Responsible for maintaining sufficient production and distribution supplies inventory to meet the company's supply needs, complete the production tasks assigned by the company in quality, quantity and on time;
  • Manage and upgrade equipment and product quality problems, responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment, organize regularly.
  • Manages direct reports and assigns work to staff as needed. Provides coaching and training, and responsible for performance evaluation monitoring and tracking procurement to ensure operating costs are within budget;
  • Responsible for new product testing, new technology, new equipment production application, optimize production cost;
  • Responsible for coordination among departments;
  • Other duties assigned by the company.
Capacity requirements and qualifications:
  • Requires a high school diploma/GED; Bachelor degree preferred
  • Experience in mechanical manufacturing is required
  • At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing plant is require
  • At least 2 years experience in staff management and development is required
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills: including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience with JobBOSS is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds, repeatedly/continuously
  • Comply with state laws and regulations
Job Type:
Full-time Salary Pay:
55K to 75K per year depending on experience
