About the Role As a Food Production Facility Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end operations of a high-volume manufacturing site, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing high-performing cross-functional teams to achieve long-term facility success. Responsibilities Direct daily manufacturing activities to optimize throughput, labor efficiency, and resource allocation. Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and SQF regulatory frameworks. Analyze operational KPIs such as waste reduction, equipment downtime, and yield to drive data-backed performance improvements. Collaborate with maintenance leadership to enhance equipment reliability through proactive preventive maintenance strategies. Mentor and develop supervisory staff to build a cohesive, accountable, and high-engagement workforce. Oversee budget management and cost-control measures to ensure the facility meets its financial and operational objectives. Facilitate internal and external audits to maintain rigorous quality assurance and regulatory standards. Required Skills 5+ years of senior leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Deep expertise in food safety protocols including HACCP, GMP, and SQF certification. Proven ability to manage complex production planning and cross-departmental workflows. Strong analytical skills with a focus on solving operational bottlenecks and improving process efficiency. Excellent communication and team-building capabilities. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies. Proficiency in ERP systems for inventory and production management. Background in high-volume food processing, snack production, or agricultural manufacturing.
