Job Description

The Plant Manager will direct and manage the aggregate operations for a facility with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. The position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for a safe, environmentally sound production of a quality product. Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Manages an aggregates plant/site Typically manages foremen and/or lead production employees with multiple teams of hourly production workers Ensures annual production and profitability targets are reached Has responsibility for the plant/site's profit and loss Develops and manages the budget for own site Ensures safety and health policies are followed Complies with environmental programs, guidelines and policies Complies with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations Oversees planning and scheduling activities Leads process improvements within own plant/site Leads project or planning activities
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Details High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Minimum Experience Required 7+ years related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Production process and methods Quality control methods Critical thinking Problem-solving Safety focus Environmental regulations Project management Regulatory compliance Resource management Leadership
